Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Rumored to be Reaching the End of Its Life Cycle

After almost two and a half years of service and three different variants, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti may finally be reaching the end of its product life cycle. According to rumors from China's Board Channels forum, Nvidia will allegedly stop producing the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The rumor is that Nvidia will notify its partners to clear the remaining GeForce RTX 3060 Ti stock, although no specific dates have been mentioned.
The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti debuted in 2020 with a launch price of $399, and it offered excellent value for gamers. While it never topped the charts, it has always maintained a strong position among the latest offerings. The graphics card enjoyed two refreshes in 2020, but neither brought any perceptible performance upgrades.
If the rumors are true, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and GeForce RTX 4060 will soon be released and compete with AMD's Radeon RX 7600. Nvidia's GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards have been criticized for their high prices, so fans hope that the company will keep the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti's MSRP at a reasonable level. Leaked specifications indicate that the Ada Lovelace graphics card should bring a generational upgrade over the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, with rumors suggesting that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB should arrive on the market on May 24, and the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB in July.
As with all rumors, it is best to approach this information with caution until Nvidia makes an official announcement.
