Shift Up released a new trailer for Stellar Blade: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players their clearest look yet at how the port is shaping up. The video arrives alongside freshly unveiled key art for the upcoming release.
The trailer highlights the post-apocalyptic action adventure's signature combat, with Shift Up confirming the Switch 2 version will support Joy-Con 2 motion controls for activities. The studio also gave the title an optimization pass to match the unique hardware of Nintendo's new console, promising more intuitive handling across various scenarios.
Stellar Blade casts players as EVE, an elite warrior sent to reclaim Earth from the Naytiba, the malevolent force that drove humanity to a Colony in outer space. The game blends cinematic storytelling with action-heavy gameplay, offering deep character progression through customizable skills, gear, and combat builds that players will need during epic boss encounters.
The Complete Edition bundles the base game with all additional content, and the Switch 2 version includes a substantial lineup of extras. Players get the digital game, the Twin Expansion Pack featuring the NieR: Automata DLC and Goddess of Victory: NIKKE DLC, a Goddess of Victory: NIKKE CD-key for a Stellar Blade costume in the mobile game, the Fluffy Bear Pack drone cosmetics, and the Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for EVE.
Shift Up still hasn't locked down a concrete release date, with the game expected to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026. The title recently received an ESRB classification, and the game is already playable on PS5 and PC.
The studio has also announced Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, the sequel to the original game, which was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2026. That follow-up continues the franchise's story with a brand-new protagonist named Evie.
