Color exclusives are the most concrete difference yet between Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra, according to a leak via Digital Citizen.
All three of Samsung's upcoming foldables, the Z Fold 8, Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Z Flip 8, will share two baseline colors: Cream and Graphite. The differentiation comes in the exclusive hues each model gets.
The Z Fold 8 Ultra, expected to retain the same profile as last year's Z Fold 7, will come in Green Shadow and Violet Shadow. The standard Z Fold 8, which leaked as a shorter, wider redesign, gets Lavender and Pistachio.
Samsung appears to be positioning the Ultra as the more professional option while the base model leans playful. The Z Flip 8 rounds out the trio with Mint and Pink exclusives, per the same leak.
Storage configurations also vary by tier. All three devices will reportedly start at 256GB with a 512GB option.
Only the Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra will offer a 1TB variant.
Samsung is expected to reveal the foldables at its Galaxy Unpacked event in July, likely alongside the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Korean media has pegged the date at July 22.
The Z Fold 8 Ultra will carry the same dimensions as the Z Fold 7, making it the most recognizable of the three devices, and likely the most expensive, with better hardware inside. The standard Z Fold 8, by contrast, is taking a different form factor entirely as a shorter, wider foldable.
Digital Citizen does not have a known track record for Samsung leaks, so these details should be treated with some caution until official renders surface closer to Unpacked.
