Fresh screenshots and videos of Samsung's upcoming One UI 9.5 reveal a reworked camera interface, revamped fingerprint enrollment, and new home screen search options. The latest look at the software surfaces days after the first preview, with the same source showing more UI changes.
Samsung has polished the camera app, bringing an updated menu container curvature and padding, a subtler background blur on pop-ups, and better icon scaling. The camera app's animations have also been reworked.
A revamped fingerprint enrollment UI is visible in the new imagery as well.
The new screenshots and videos cover the interface from the home screen to the lock screen and the camera app. The visuals also point to new Finder and Google Search bar options for the home screen, a feature that launched with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 on One UI 9.0.
Samsung is additionally looking to simplify phone mirroring to a PC, though that would likely require a Galaxy Book laptop alongside a Galaxy phone.
The app opening and closing animations are described as "ridiculously smooth," at least by Samsung's standards. One UI 9.5 is expected to be the version launching on the Galaxy S27 family early next year, leaving time for more details to emerge about the update.
