Samsung slipped the Galaxy A27 onto its Czech website Friday, confirming nearly every spec of the mid-range phone after weeks of leaks. The listing reveals a device that trades IP67 water resistance for a generational leap in software support, six Android version upgrades and six years of security patches, taking it through 2032.
The A27 runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5 out of the box, backed by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. Memory options top out at 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with a hybrid SIM slot accepting microSD cards up to 2TB, contradicting earlier leak reports that claimed no expandable storage. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display carries FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 800 nits of peak brightness with Samsung's Vision Booster.
A 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization leads the rear setup, joined by a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The front-facing camera drops from 13MP on the A26 to 12MP.
