Samsung's Galaxy S26 series will launch in White alongside five other colors, with the company expected to unveil its 2026 flagship lineup on February 25. Leaked images show the white variant with thin bezels, rounded corners, and a clean camera island design that extends across all three models.
The white color option appears in multiple leaks, including 360-degree renders from Evan Blass and images shared by tipster Ice Universe.
Samsung reportedly calls one of the white shades "Very White," described as "pure white and very charming" in leaks. This marks a departure from previous Ultra models that featured color-matched S Pens, as the Galaxy S26 Ultra will only include black or white stylus options.
All Galaxy S26 models share the same color palette: Black, White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, Cobalt Violet, and Pink Gold. This consistency across the lineup represents a design unification strategy, with the camera island now appearing on base models instead of being exclusive to Ultra variants.
Samsung confirmed a ground-breaking privacy display feature for the Galaxy S26 Ultra earlier this month. The new system lets users control which apps remain visible when viewed from angles, addressing shoulder-surfing concerns through a combination of software and hardware.
This privacy layer goes beyond simple screen filters, offering app-specific visibility controls.
Camera improvements target a subtle but persistent issue from previous models. Images shot on the Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly exhibit less banding in areas of subtle gradients compared to the S25 Ultra, despite using the same primary camera sensor. Samsung has tweaked image processing to reduce banding visibility that first appeared shortly after the S25 Ultra's launch.
Wireless charging represents a compromise for the new series. The Galaxy S26 lineup will not include built-in magnets for Qi2 wireless charging, according to tipster Ice Universe. Users will need magnet-equipped cases to use magnetic accessories, putting Samsung behind Apple's MagSafe and Google's Pixel Snap charging systems that feature integrated magnets.
The S Pen compatibility likely influenced this decision, as strong magnets can interfere with stylus input accuracy. Samsung will instead offer magnetic cases, power banks, and chargers as official accessories to bridge the functionality gap.
Pricing strategy shows differentiation between models. The Galaxy S26 Ultra may avoid a price increase, while the base S26 and S26 Plus models could see price hikes.
Samsung is reportedly "doing their best" to keep the Ultra model under 2 million won (approximately $1,360), about $60 more than the S25 Ultra's launch price.
Design refinements include a thinner profile for the Ultra model, which necessitated a protruding camera island to accommodate internal components without sacrificing camera capabilities. The entire lineup maintains flat front screens and frames with rounded corners, continuing Samsung's restrained approach to annual updates.
The February 25 Galaxy Unpacked event will also introduce Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, completing Samsung's early 2026 product refresh. Retail availability could begin as early as March 11, though Samsung has not confirmed specific market dates.
Samsung's color strategy emphasizes consistency across price tiers, with white serving as a core option alongside more vibrant choices like Cobalt Violet and Sky Blue. This approach contrasts with Apple's Pro-exclusive color options, making premium finishes available throughout the Galaxy S26 lineup.
