OPPO claims to have solved the foldable crease problem with its new Find N6, launching globally on March 17. The company says its "Zero-Feel Crease" technology represents a breakthrough in hinge architecture and display materials that could redefine what users expect from foldable smartphones.
The Find N6 will debut in two color options globally: Stellar Titanium and Blossom Orange, according to OPPO's global announcement. In China, pre-order listings show three options: Golden Orange (called Blossom Orange globally), Original Titanium (called Stellar Titanium globally), and Deep Black, which appears to be a China-exclusive variant.
Storage configurations include 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB with 512GB, and a top-tier 16GB with 1TB option that reportedly includes satellite connectivity support.
Pre-orders are already open in China ahead of the March 17 launch event at OPPO's new Binhai Bay Campus. The company has released teaser videos showing the device's durable hinge mechanism and its 200MP Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system housed in what OPPO calls a "refined, symmetrical Cosmos Ring."
"The OPPO Find N series has always led the foldable market by being on the front end of technologies. With Find N6, we have achieved a major breakthrough in hinge architecture and display materials."
OPPO says its Zero-Feel Crease technology allows users to experience smooth visuals and smooth touch response on an expansive display that stays flat even after years of use. The company claims this marks a leap forward from previous generations that used waterdrop Flexion Hinges to minimize but not eliminate visible creases.
The Blossom Orange model features Gold Hinge Trim that incorporates genuine gold through a precise gilding technique applied to the titanium alloy hinge casing. This creates a uniform rose gold finish on what OPPO describes as a durable titanium frame.
Beyond display improvements, the Find N6 supports an OPPO AI Pen stylus (sold separately) that transforms the device into what the company calls a "true mobile workstation." The pen includes integrated intelligent features designed to boost productivity on the larger screen.
Specifications reportedly include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6,000mAh battery, an 8.12-inch inner display paired with a 6.62-inch cover screen, and camera hardware featuring a 50MP ultrawide lens alongside a 50MP periscope telephoto unit.
