iQOO launched its first Ultra-branded smartphone in China on February 4, 2026, introducing active cooling to its flagship lineup for the first time.

The iQOO 15 Ultra replaces previous Pro models as the company's top-tier offering, marking a shift in its product naming convention.

The device features a 6.85-inch 2K+ (3168 × 1440 pixels) 144Hz AMOLED display using Samsung's M14 LTPO panel technology. According to GSM Arena, the screen delivers 2,600 nits HBM brightness with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, while PhoneBunch reports an 8,000 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

Power comes from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with a dedicated Q3 gaming chip. Techlusive reports configurations reaching 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, with benchmark scores exceeding 51 million points on AnTuTu V11 according to multiple sources.

IQOO's Ice Dome cooling system represents the phone's most distinctive feature, incorporating a 17x17mm active fan within a large vapor chamber. Despite the ventilation requirements, GSM Arena confirms the device maintains IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

Gaming enhancements include 600Hz shoulder triggers with customizable tap and swipe gestures, dual-axis vibration motors, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

The phone tested at steady 144fps during livestreaming sessions across seven popular titles, becoming the first device to run Honor of Kings at Ultra Quality settings at that frame rate.

Camera specifications include a triple 50MP array: main Sony IMX921 sensor with optical stabilization, 3x telephoto Sony IMX882 periscope lens, and 107-degree ultra-wide shooter. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls, supporting 8K video recording according to Techlusive.

Battery capacity increases to 7,400mAh from the standard model's 7,000mAh, supporting 100W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. The larger battery contributes to an 8.7mm thickness and 227g weight, slightly thicker and heavier than the vanilla iQOO 15.

Pricing starts at CNY 5,699 (approximately Rs 74,200) for the 16GB/256GB variant, with the 16GB/512GB model at CNY 5,999 (~Rs 78,100) and 16GB/1TB at CNY 6,999 (~Rs 91,200). The top configuration with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 7,699 (~Rs 100,300).

Available in Black (2077) and Silver (2049) color options, the iQOO 15 Ultra began pre-orders in China through Vivo's official online store. Sales commence February 10, 2026 according to multiple sources, though some reports indicate February 6 availability.

No international launch plans have been confirmed.
