Global Launch Date Set for vivo X100 Series
Next week, on December 14, mobile enthusiasts worldwide can look forward to the global launch of vivo's X100 and X100 Pro smartphones. This exciting announcement follows the pre-order availability of both models since November 24. The much-anticipated launch event is scheduled for 7 PM next Thursday, with the time zone yet to be disclosed by the company.
An impressive feature of these smartphones lies in their performance, driven by the powerful Dimensity 9300 SoC. What sets them apart are the distinct camera and battery specifications.
In the power department, the X100 stands out with a robust 5,000 mAh battery, complemented by a remarkable 120W wired charging capability. Meanwhile, the X100 Pro boasts a slightly larger 5,400 mAh battery, featuring 100W wired charging and an additional 50W wireless charging option.
Shifting our focus to the camera setups, both smartphones sport a triple camera arrangement on the rear. The shared element is a 50MP ultrawide camera, while the primary and periscope telephoto cameras differ between the X100 and X100 Pro.
The X100 takes pride in its 50MP 1/1.49" primary camera and a 64MP 70mm periscope telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. In contrast, the X100 Pro features a 50MP 1/0.98" primary camera and a 50MP 100mm periscope telephoto unit offering 4.3x optical zoom.
