Call of Duty email verification has you stuck waiting for a message that never arrives. Start with the mailbox checks below, then use the retry option for the prompt blocking you. Ownership links, account-change codes, and two-factor authentication codes use different flows, so they need different fixes.

Check whether the message landed in spam

Spam filtering keeps Activision verification messages out of your inbox.

Check your mailbox’s Spam or Junk folder for messages from activision.com.

Add activision.com to your approved-sender list, as Activision recommends. The Gmail and Outlook controls are covered below.

In Gmail on the web, open More > Spam.

Select the legitimate Activision message.

Choose Not spam. Adding a trusted sender to Google Contacts also prevents spam classification, but blocked senders need to be unblocked separately.

For iCloud Mail on an iPhone or iPad, open Mail > Junk.

Open the Activision message.

Select Move to Folder > Inbox.

On a Mac, drag the message from Junk to Inbox.

On iCloud.com, open Junk.

Select the Activision message.

Choose Move Message > Inbox > Move.

Open Call of Duty’s email verification page and select Login. Check the displayed destination address before requesting a message.

Select Send Verification Email.

Open the verification link in that mailbox. Return to the website and select I’ve Verified My Email.

No message? Select Resend Link. If the page displays its resend restriction, wait 60 seconds before trying again; that timer applies to this website flow, while account security challenges have separate retry guidance.

If Gmail still has no message

Use these checks on the Gmail desktop website when the Activision message is still missing. Filters, blocked senders, forwarding, and full storage all affect incoming mail.

Open Show search options.

Set Search to Mail & Spam & Trash.

Enter Activision-related search details.

Select Search.

If the message is still missing, open Settings > See all settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses.

Use Edit or Delete on a matching filter that archives or deletes incoming Activision messages.

Select any blocked Activision sender on that same page.

Choose Unblock selected addresses.

For forwarding settings, open Settings > See all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP, or the Forwarding tab.

Set forwarding to retain the inbox copy, or disable unwanted forwarding.

Select Save Changes.

If you access Gmail through another mail app, check that app for automatic deletion settings.

Check your remaining Google Account storage using the storage-check link on Google’s missing Gmail messages help page.

Free up storage if the quota is full.

Request another verification message after resolving the full quota.

Remove Outlook delivery blocks

These changes fix sender blocks and junk filtering in Outlook.

In new Outlook, Outlook.com, or Outlook on the web, open Settings > Mail > Junk email.

Select the blocked Activision address or domain.

Choose Remove.

To approve the sender, open Settings > Mail > Junk email > Senders > Safe senders and domains > + Add safe sender.

Enter the trusted sender address.

Select OK.

Select Save.

In classic Outlook, open Home > Block > Junk E-mail Options > Blocked Senders. Block is in the Delete group on the Home tab.

Select the Activision entry.

Choose Remove.

To approve the domain in classic Outlook, open Home > Block > Junk E-mail Options > Safe Senders > Add.

Enter activision.com.

Select OK.

If you access a third-party mailbox through new Outlook, use that email provider’s blocking and approved-sender controls.

When the registered email is wrong or inaccessible

An inaccessible registered mailbox leaves you unable to open the verification messages sent there.

Check the email registered with Activision. Your PlayStation, Xbox, or other platform account does not have to use the same address.

If you have lost mailbox access, ask your email provider to restore it.

To change the registered address, sign in at your Activision account profile.

Select Edit beside your email address.

Complete the verification prompts. This process does not guarantee an email change without access to the old mailbox.

If there is no manual email-edit option, open Privacy & Security.

Confirm that Authenticator App or SMS two-factor authentication is enabled before contacting Activision Support.

If you need another way to sign in, choose an existing linked platform on the Activision login page.

Authenticate with that platform’s provider to return to Activision. This sign-in route does not guarantee that you can skip verification or two-factor authentication.

Contact Activision Support if mailbox recovery fails or the profile lacks an email-edit option. Email-change assistance depends on your account; a change is not guaranteed.

Missing security codes need a different retry

Waiting on a code for an account change, account linking, or required login verification? If it remains missing after 24 hours, repeat the account-change request or sign in again online or in the game.

For an email two-factor authentication login challenge, request another code from the login screen after checking Spam or Junk.

If an authenticator or SMS method is already enabled, select Use Different Method.

Choose your enabled alternative to complete the login challenge. This does not independently verify ownership of your email address.

To make another enabled method your default, open your account profile’s Privacy & Security > Two-Factor Authentication.

Select the three dots beside your preferred method.

Choose Set As Primary Method. Email two-factor authentication cannot be disabled.

If the retries and your enabled alternatives fail, use the Activision support flow below for the account issue blocking you.

Get help with a code that never arrives

Choose the support issue that matches the message you’re missing.

  1. 1.Open Activision Support Options and select LOG IN.
  2. 2.Select your game and platform.
  3. 3.Choose I didn't get a verification code to make a change to my account or I don't have access to the email for my Activision Account.
  4. 4.Follow the support flow available for your selected product and signed-in account.
  5. 5.For a work or school Google Workspace mailbox, ask your administrator to trace delivery of the Activision message. If Google never received it, escalate the missing message to Activision.

Verified but still missing your rewards

Restarting the game addresses missing verification rewards in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.

Close the game after completing email verification.

Relaunch the game to check for your rewards.

Contact Activision Support if the rewards remain missing. Restarting addresses rewards after verification; it does not repair email delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a backup code instead of an email verification code?

A saved backup code works with a previously configured authenticator. If that authenticator is unavailable, enter an unused backup code in its usual authentication-code field. It is not a general substitute for an email verification code.

Will resetting my password make the verification email arrive?

Password recovery restores access when you have forgotten your password and can access your mailbox. Activision does not provide it as an email-delivery fix. A password-reset link is single-use and expires after 24 hours.

What if correct credentials produce an invalid-email/password error?

Retry signing in through another browser. Activision also recommends clearing cookies and cache for login errors. In desktop Chrome, open More > Delete browsing data. Choose a time range. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files. Select Delete data, then retry signing in. These steps address website access, not undelivered email.

Do I need to reinstall Call of Duty to fix verification?

No. Activision provides no official reinstall method for repairing email verification.
