How to Fix Overheating Problem on Lenovo K900?

Lenovo is a very well-known name in the Laptop’s world. Now they have started to build their name to the world of mobile also. Lenovo K900 is one of their popular mobile devices where Lenovo tried to put everything together. So you will get vast features in it. The design of Lenovo K900 is also excellent. It came up with 5.5-inch HD screen with slim metal black-plate body. So the phone is extremely light weight, 162 gm and easy to carry as well.

However, people, who are using Lenovo K900, are complaining that they are facing several issues with the set. One of the biggest problems is phone overheating. As the body of the phone is made of metal, it gets heated easily when putting the phone on charge or playing games. Some users reported that their Lenovo K900 gets heated when they record anything or take photos also. Some users said that the upper side of their phone where the logo of the Lenovo is positioned is heated mostly. Using a mobile cover you can get relief from the heating problem to some extent.

Here are some solutions that you can follow if you face overheating problem on Lenovo K900 handset. This heating problem is unwanted and can cause severe damage on the handset anytime. So you can take some prevention measure and follow some simple steps to detect the actual points to the problem.

First of all, clean the mobile and delete the unwanted apps from the phone. Try to use the phone only for receiving calls, making calls, and for short messaging and see if you are facing the phone overheating problem. If you see the problem is not occurring, then you can use Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity. After getting Internet connection on Lenovo K900, again observe that the overheating problem is occurring or not. Here one check I would mention about the data connectivity. Keep an eye on the heating issue when you are accessing the Internet using your 3G or 4G connections. Then try using your home Wi-Fi and keep a track which one is heating more.

If you do not face the problem after getting Wi-Fi connection, then download different apps and games that you like to play. If you see that at the time of playing any specific game, your mobile is getting heated easily, then the problem may be because of the game and in such case uninstall the game. Do the same for apps also. If you see that your Lenovo K900 phone gets overheated while operating any specific app then uninstall the same. One thing to mention here all the free apps available in the play store is not optimized and can create heating issue for their high resolution graphics.

But the overall phone is good and designed beautifully. Because of the metal body, the phone gets heated very soon and also gets cool down easily.
