At $299.99, the current price is below its 30-day average of $499.99, the S5 reaches its lowest price on record. The previously recorded low was $399.98, while its 90-day average was $484.63. That puts the current offer below both its previous floor and its recent typical pricing.

What You're Getting

• Planar magnetic drivers use an EqualMass diaphragm and second-generation symmetric wiring designed to distribute driving force evenly and improve stability across frequencies.
• Qualcomm's QCC5181 platform and Snapdragon Sound support aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. LDAC and LHDC support round out the codec selection, alongside Hi-Res Audio and Wireless Hi-Res Audio.
• Bluetooth 5.4 supports simultaneous connections to two audio devices. Google Fast Pair handles Android pairing, and USB-C and AUX cables provide wired connection options.
• Battery life reaches up to 80 hours of continuous playback. A 10-minute charge supplies 11 hours of listening, useful when you have little time to recharge.
• The closed-back design pairs adjustable headbands with genuine lambskin earpads. Dual microphones and Qualcomm cVc handle calls, while the folding structure and carry case help with transport.

Who This Is For

The S5 suits listeners who want wireless planar magnetic headphones with a broad choice of audio codecs and wired connections. Two-device Bluetooth support makes it useful for people switching between audio sources, while the long battery rating suits extended listening sessions. Travelers also get a folding design and carry case to keep the headphones packed between uses.

Final Verdict

The combination of planar drivers, extensive connectivity and up to 80 hours of playback makes this a practical upgrade for listeners who will use those features. Get the S5 for $299.99 if that matches your needs, with $200 off its 30-day average and a new recorded low.
