Apple’s iPhone, expected to be launched in September, is one of the most anticipated smartphones this year. Like every year, a large number of Apple fans are planning to replace their existing iPhone model with the newest version of the device. Then, there would be those who have never used an iPhone and 2022 is the year when they plan to try out the premium smartphone with arrival of its latest model.

When you buy a smartphone today, you try to get a good idea of the kind of security features it has. The presence of robust security features in a smartphone has become very important as these days, you store a large amount of important information on your phone. From your bank account details to your address, an individual get a good amount of information about you if they get to lay their hands on your phone and manage to unlock it.

One of the things a lot of people were expecting to come across in iPhone 14 were advanced security features. There were strong rumors about Apple planning to integrate both Face ID and Touch ID recognition features in the upcoming iPhone model. However, the reports that have surfaced recently state the opposite.

While most Android devices feature an under-display fingerprint sensor, it is not a common feature in iPhones. Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had made a prediction about Apple introducing both Touch ID and Face ID in their devices before 2023. However, now the analyst stated that this might not happen in a very long time. As per Kuo, iOS 15.4 marked the arrival of the Face ID with a mask. According to him, this feature has proved to be a “great biometrics solution” and therefore, the company doesn’t feel the need to integrate under-display Touch ID in its devices.

Apart from Touch ID and fingerprint sensor, periscope camera is also expected to be absent from the iPhone 14. Given Apple’s reputation, one expects the company to package the device with the kind of features that would make users feel less disappointed about the non-inclusion of the aforementioned features.
