Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G with Snapdragon 732G and 108MP Camera

Chinese tech company, Xiaomi, has announced the release of a new phone under the Redmi Note lineup, called the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G. The device was launched in Indonesia and features a Snapdragon 732G chipset, a 108MP main camera, and a camera island design similar to the Redmi Note 11 series.
While the Qualcomm chipset only supports LTE speeds, it still boasts two powerful CPU cores running at 2.3 GHz. The same chipset was previously used in the Redmi Note 10 Pro and was released almost three years ago in March 2021. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W, which has been a standard feature across three generations of the Redmi Note lineup. The phone also boasts a 120Hz screen with a single punch hole in the center, likely a 6.67” AMOLED panel. Other specs include 4K video recording, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, as well as support for Dolby Vision Atmos.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is set to be available for purchase in Indonesia in May, and it remains unclear whether the device will be available in other markets or regions.
Xiaomi's latest release may cause confusion for consumers who are already struggling to understand the differences between the existing Redmi Note 12 Pros. However, for those in the market for a 4G phone with impressive camera capabilities and long battery life, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G may be worth considering.
