Windows 10 mobile for Xiaomi Mi4 will be released on December 3, as it’s told by Lin, a president and founder of Xiaomi through a teaser image on Weibo. This is a result of their cooperation with Microsoft back in March, to present the Windows 10 mobile on Mi4. Therefore, Xiaomi Mi4 will become the first Xiaomi Android phone that officially use Windows 10 mobile.

Windows 10 Mobile For Xiaomi Mi4 Will Be Released On December 3

It is one of the steps taken by Microsoft in order to get the larger market, by allowing Windows 10 mobile to be installed on the Android phone.

On December 3, Xiaomi will release the guide and file installer to be used by Mi4 users to install Windows 10 mobile on it. From the information we got, Windows 10 mobile is addressed for Mi4 LTE model only. For your information, mi4 has 2 variants: LTE model and 3G model. At this moment, there is no further information about its compatibility with the 3G model.

If this Microsoft strategy works out, it can attract the Android phone user to switch to Windows 10 mobile, and Microsoft will probably make the Windows 10 mobile for the other Android phone versions.
