Amazon speakers are cool gadgets, especially considering that the device can communicate with you. The first is using Alexa, and the second is by flashing lights in a specific color. If you are wondering why your Alexa device shows green circles, you have come to the right place. That’s exactly what we will talk about here, so keep reading.

When the Amazon Echo shows a pulsating green light, it means there is an incoming call. If enabled, Alexa can also inform you that there is a call. You can answer the call using the app or by giving Alexa a command and saying something like, “Alexa, answer the call.”

The green light will no longer pulsate when you pick up the call. It will spin around. While you may find this strange, it is a pretty helpful feature. The main idea of the spinning green light is to notify other people around the household that the Echo dot is currently in use.

You may also notice your Echo blinking green. If you see it, it means that you have some waiting messages or shipment updates. When there is a blinking green light, you must tell Alexa to read your messages. The light will then stop.

You can adjust the notifications by opening the Alexa app on your mobile device. Next, tap More > Settings > Notifications. Turn off the ones you don’t need.
