Some users of Samsung Galaxy S5 have been complaining about the annoying wireless charging notification sounds on Samsung Galaxy S5. Some users said that they put the phone in charge at night but it beeps continuously, which is very irritating.

Wireless Charging Notification

There could be two reasons behind this problem. First, the phone is beeping and second, the charging pad is beeping.

When you put your Galaxy S5 in charge, after it is charged fully, it will stop charging. In few minutes, the 100% charge will drop to 99%, and the phone will start charging again and a pop-up with a notification “WIRELESS CHARGING…” will be shown on the screen. This cycle keeps repeating until you remove the charger from the phone.

Another reason of wireless charging notification sounds on Samsung Galaxy S5 could be the charging pad that is beeping. So first you have to determine which one is beeping, your Galaxy S5 or the wireless charging pad. To know that, bring all the volume down of your phone and then put it over the charging pad. If you see that still the beeping is there, then it’s the charging pad.

However, tostop your Galaxy S5 from beeping when charging wirelessly:

> Root your Galaxy S5. You have to do this in order to modify the system files, which is important for this purpose.

> Download the Root Browser on your phone and install the same.

> Navigate to directory system, then media> audio> ui.

> There will be a file named WirelessChargingStarted.ogg. Find it and rename the file to any name that you want.

Now you are done. Your phone will not beep anymore when you put it on wireless charger pad.

But if the wireless charging pad is beeping, then to stop it open the pad, find the wire that is connected to the speaker and cut it. However, one thing you should remember that doing so will void the warranty of the charging pad.
