The iPhone 6s is plagued by a sound problem where the speaker doesn’t work to its full abilities and the iPhone stops playing notifications sounds till the time an iMessage is sent to your phone. Strange as it sounds, the problem was experienced by a number of users. It was noticed that the problem was rooted in the Facebook app.
Solution 1: Restart Your Phone
A quick restart generally fixes the problem but some users find that the issue reappears after some time. If you feel that you’ve been restarting your phone too often because of the sound problem, then close the Facebook App instead.
Solution 2: Close the Facebook App
If Facebook is currently open on our phone, then close the Facebook app by double tapping on the Home button and then closing Facebook.
Solution 3: Switch Off Background App Refresh for Facebook
You can also switch off background app refresh for Facebook to avoid the sound problems on your iPhone 6s.
- Go to Settings
- Tap on General Background App Refresh
- Look up Facebook and switch it off
This will stop the problems and fix the issue.
