HTC One M8 came into the market recently and has captured the market with its excellent features. HTC provides its own apps for its latest HTC M8, but some users have reported that they are facing email app issue on HTC One M8. The search function of the HTC One M8 email app does not work properly.
It has noticed that mainly Yahoo mail users are facing this email app issue on HTC One M8. It seems Yahoo, and the HTC mail app does not work nice together.
Solution for email app issue on HTC One M8

1. In your phone, open the Menu button.
2. Click on Apps.
3. Tap on Mail icon.
4. Tap on Other (POP3/ IMAP).
5. Provide your Yahoo account information.
If you see that an error is occurring while following the above steps, then try to follow the below steps:
1. Tap Manual Setup.
2. Click on IMAP.
3. Then enter the following server information:
a. Incoming server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
b. Port#: 993
c. Security type: SSL
d. Outgoing server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
e. Port#: 465
4. Keep all the other settings same.
5. Now complete the setup process.
After following the above step email app issue on HTC One M8 should be solved.
Another problem that some HTC One M8 users are experiencing is that their phones always appear to be roaming. It’s a thing to concern because the phone bills may get high though users make calls within their region of service only.
