Samsung reportedly will make the Samsung Gear S2 compatible with the iPhone, soon. The Samsung spokesperson said to Digital Spy about it in one discussion.
“We are looking at possibilities to open it up to iOS,” the spokesperson told. They added: “Because we opened it up to Android, we are looking at this.”
Samsung Gear S2 is a smartwatch from Samsung, which is compatible with the other Android devices. The previous version was only compatible with Samsung Galaxy only. And the next vision of Samsung is to make their Gear S2 compatible with the iPhone, so the iPhone users can also own and use it. Gear S2 will compete and start to reach the iPhone users.
Samsung Gear S2 was introduced at IFA 2015 in Berlin with its attractive rotating bezel, 1.2-inch full circle super AMOLED display, a resolution of 360 x 360p (302 PPI), and water resistant with a rating of IP68. For the battery, Samsung claims it is better than the Apple Watch, which can last up to 2-3 days. If you are an iPhone user and interested to own Gear S2, you have to wait. There is not an official announcement yet about when it will compatible with the iPhone, but the Samsung spokesperson statement above gives a hope for iPhone users.
The challenge for Samsung is to integrate the iPhone Core service better, so it will really useful for the iPhone users, and it is possible. The challenge for Apple is to make the Apple Watch much better, such as fixing the battery life. We will give you the update.
