Verizon launched a $20 monthly discount on YouTube TV for new subscribers this week, cutting the streaming service's price to $62.99 for the first six months. The promotion targets Verizon home internet and mobile customers seeking holiday entertainment options.
The deal reduces YouTube TV's standard $82.99 monthly rate by 24 percent, delivering $120 in total savings over the half-year promotional period. Customers must activate the offer through Verizon's My Verizon app or website, linking their YouTube TV account to their existing Verizon service.
Verizon confirmed the discount applies exclusively to new YouTube TV subscribers, according to company documentation. Previous YouTube TV users cannot access the promotional pricing, even with current Verizon service.
After the six-month period ends, billing automatically reverts to YouTube TV's standard $82.99 monthly rate. The streaming bill consolidates with customers' existing Verizon mobile or home internet statements.
YouTube TV delivers over 100 live channels including major network broadcasts, regional sports coverage, and real-time news. The service includes unlimited cloud DVR storage and supports six user accounts with three simultaneous streams per household.
Verizon customers can access the YouTube TV promotion through the carrier's add-ons page, verifying eligibility before activation. No annual contracts or termination fees apply to the streaming service subscription.
