Official update timeline

, marked Investigating

Some users on MacOS may be seeing errors stating that our Proton Mail & Proton Meet apps are qualified as malware. This is an error, there is no actual malware threat, and we're working together with Apple to restore functionality for our MacOS users. For context, earlier today one of our developer accounts with Apple was revoked for unknown reasons, causing previously legitimate apps to be blocked at the operating system level on MacOS. In the meantime, we recommend using the webapps. Apologies for the disruptions caused by this, we will communicate further once we have more information and updates.
