Myntra appointed former Google and Instacart executive Pramod Adiddam as chief technology officer this month, strengthening its senior leadership during a period of rapid expansion. The move follows a similar pattern seen at other tech companies, including Microsoft's recent appointment of former Google Cloud executive Hayete Gallot as security chief.

Adiddam will report directly to CEO Nandita Sinha and oversee the fashion e-commerce platform's overall technology strategy. His mandate includes driving innovation, ensuring platform resilience, and building long-term technical capabilities to support Myntra's growth trajectory.

The appointment follows Myntra's consolidation of Gurugram-based satellite operations to Bengaluru last month. Adiddam brings more than two decades of experience building consumer-facing technology platforms, including over 11 years at Google where he most recently served as head of engineering.

Prior to joining Myntra, Adiddam spent five years as vice president and head of engineering at San Francisco-based grocery delivery platform Instacart. His background includes architecting large-scale commerce systems and scaling multi-billion-dollar marketplace engines.

Myntra's technology push coincides with strong financial performance. The Bengaluru-based company reported an 18-fold jump in net profit to ₹548 crore in FY25, compared with ₹31 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Revenue from operations increased 18% year-on-year to ₹6,043 crore from ₹5,122 crore in FY24.

The platform has expanded its quick commerce operations to Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad this week. Myntra also revealed that 70% of new customers come from non-metro cities, explaining its expansion strategy beyond top urban centers.

Technology underpins Myntra's ability to deliver simple, intuitive experiences to millions of shoppers.

CEO Nandita Sinha emphasized that Adiddam's expertise in building global platforms and combining technical understanding with disciplined execution will strengthen the company's technology foundations at scale.

Adiddam's appointment represents the latest senior leadership addition by Myntra this year. The company appointed Ritesh Mishra as senior vice president and head of category and revenue in January, following Raghu Krishnananda's departure from the Chief Product and Technology Officer role in April 2025.
