Samsung's next Android skin will introduce an AI assistant that reads webpages alongside your browsing history, according to leaked builds of One UI 9 obtained by SammyGuru. The "Ask AI" feature processes both current page content and historical data to deliver personalized answers without requiring manual text copying.

Leaked test versions show Samsung Internet gaining a compact floating search bar positioned near the screen bottom, accessible through debug settings. The toolbar includes search, AI access, recent tabs, and menu options, automatically hiding during scrolling for immersive browsing.

One UI 9 development progresses while Samsung prepares to launch One UI 8.5 stable with next week's Galaxy S26 series debut. The Android 17-based interface maintains visual continuity with its predecessor but introduces red and blue branding accents instead of One UI 8.5's blue-green theme.

The AI functionality will likely remain exclusive to flagship devices supporting Galaxy AI capabilities when One UI 9 arrives this September alongside Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8 models. Samsung typically debuts major software updates with its foldable lineup before expanding availability to compatible smartphones.

Mid-range Galaxy A57 and A37 certifications suggest Samsung's product pipeline extends beyond premium devices. Both models cleared Singapore's IMDA regulatory approval with model numbers SM-A576B/DS and SM-A376B/DS respectively, indicating imminent global availability.

Geekbench listings reveal the Galaxy A57 employs Exynos 1680 silicon delivering approximately 12% multi-core performance gains over its predecessor, while the A37 uses Exynos 1480 hardware. Both devices reportedly feature 5,000mAh batteries supporting 45W fast charging.

The compact floating search bar positioned near the screen bottom represents one of several interface refinements arriving with One UI 9's September rollout alongside Samsung's next-generation foldables.
