Big changes are on the way for the next Apple Watch, specifically in how the watch bands will connect to the device. Apparently, the upcoming model, which some are calling the "Apple Watch X," will have a completely new way for bands to attach, making the current bands incompatible.

According to the trusted leaker "Kosutami," who has a good track record of getting Apple info right, the new Apple Watch might use a magnetic band system. This change could free up room inside the watch for things like bigger batteries or other cool stuff. As for the exact amount of space that could be saved with the new band connector, well, that's not been confirmed yet. It's been mentioned that the current band system takes up a lot of room inside the watch, which could be holding back things like larger batteries. The main aim of this redesign is to make more space inside the watch for better features and longer battery life. But, we don't have the exact numbers on how much space will be saved just yet. We'll have to wait and see if this magnetic system becomes a reality.

Literally if you have old bands now, just sell it. It’s 100% accurate

Since 2014, the Apple Watch has always used the same system for connecting bands. But now, it's all set for a major revamp. The new design will replace the old connection system, meaning all the bands we have now won't work with the new watch.

Apart from the band connection update, the next Apple Watch is expected to get a whole new look with a slimmer design, larger screen, and even new health features like monitoring blood pressure and detecting sleep apnea. Kosutami’s leaks in the past have turned out to be true, like the FineWoven band, so there's a good chance this info is legit.

While we're excited about what's to come, the exact details of the new band system are still a mystery. But it's safe to say that tech fans and Apple fans alike are eagerly awaiting the release of the "Apple Watch X” and all the changes it will bring.
