Microsoft To Release The News Pro App For iOS

Today, Microsoft released the new app for iOS, named News Pro. The application is addressed to professionals to get news around their work every day. They give tag for this app “hyper-relevant news for your work”.

You can ask the app to personalize your Linkedin or Facebook. You will be provided with various articles and topics, which they claim you maybe don’t realize you actually need it.

The appearance of this app is indeed addressed for iPhone or iPod Touch, but it’s not optimized for iPad. Its UI looks light with a dark color menu to give it a Pro touch. Moreover, there is a Highlight feature that you can access to get the latest information and explore feature to get more detailed information.


At this time, the News Pro is available for U.S store for iOS 8 or later and has a size around 11MB. When it was released for the first time, this app got a very good rating and reviews. News Pro is a Microsoft Garage project, and they would love to get a feedback in order to develop this app. News Pro adds a long-list of the Microsoft apps for iOS platform. This app is only available for iOS. They even have not made it for the Windows platform.
