Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, has announced its third annual Quest Gaming Showcase for June 1st. The event will feature "over 40 minutes of content," including game announcements, first looks, updates, and a preshow and postshow, according to a company blog post.

The 2022 Quest Gaming Showcase took place in April and showcased several exciting games, including Resident Evil 4, Among Us VR, and a new add-on for Beat Saber. The upcoming event is expected to feature even more exciting game announcements, though some VR fans may be disappointed by the news that the widely praised Echo VR will be shut down.

The preshow for the event will begin at 12:45PM ET, with the main show starting at 1PM ET. The event can be watched on various platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and inside the company's Horizon Worlds social VR platform.

Meta's Quest Gaming Showcase is one of several gaming events taking place in June. Although E3 was canceled, there is still plenty to look forward to, including Microsoft's Xbox and Starfield events, Ubisoft's show, and Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest. VR enthusiasts will undoubtedly be eagerly anticipating Meta's upcoming event, hoping for new and exciting game releases.
