Meet MateBook, Huawei’s First PC Tablet With Windows 10 Pro OS

Huawei introduces the first PC tablet with Windows 10 Pro OS to the market, named MateBook. The device promises a premium tablet taste with its productivity capabilities. A 12-inch display size with a 2160×1440 pixel resolution yields a pixel density up to 216 PPI, the same density as Surface Pro 3. The next fact about this tablet is the thin display bezel that makes the display and its body ratio get 84%. With its aluminum case, 6.9mm of thickness, 630 grams of weight can attract our attention when we hold it. Its weight is lighter than iPad Pro and Surface Pro 4 Core M edition, and this is one of its advantages.

The internal hardware of MateBook is powered by the Core M processor with m5 or m7 option, instead of i5 or i7 as we can find in Surface Pro 4.  There are some options for its RAM i.e 4GB and 8GB while for the storage options it has 256GB and 512GB.

MateBook is equipped with the cover display with the backlit keyboard inside and there are some soft colors you can choose, such as light gold, brown, orange, and black. Cover+keyboard will be connected magnetically with tablet and when you are typing, the screen can be positioned in two angles. The other things, like fingerprint recognition, splash-proof, a dual speaker from Dolby, and battery lifetime can last up to 9 hours, make the MateBook more interesting.

What is missed from this tablet? Unfortunately, MateBook does not provide a rear camera and Windows Hello technology to unlock the device (they’ve changed it with a fingerprint recognition). However, this PC tablet from Huawei gives you a productivity experience in a thin and light device. Are interested in buying it?
