Users reported a problem with the GPS which was stemmed in a bug. The GPS connections drop or it fails to establish a connection at all. Most users who complained of this problem found that turning off LTE helped in the performance of the GPS but there are some who simply got their phones replaced.
Solution 1: Turn of LTE
- Head to the Settings menu of your phone
- Tap on Cellular
- Go to Voice and Data
- Select 3G
Solution 2: Go to Apple Care
If switching off LTE doesn’t help, then head to the Apple Store for help. Users have been able to secure a replacement device for this problem.
