iPad devices have been with us for some years now. Since the release of the first tablet from the tech giant, its popularity has grown in leaps and bounds. We can now order iPad Mini 4, iPad (2017) and the two models of iPad Pro (9.7-inch and 12.9-inch) online and have then delivered in a couple of days. And while some are still musing on upgrading their devices, there are already talks of an iPad Pro 2 being available in the market soon.
Worldwide Developers Conference 2017
In less than five days, WWDC 2017 will be taking place and iPhone fans are looking forward to new models and software. But according to rumors, there is a big chance that a launching of yet another iPad Pro generation is happening.
As a usual practice, the focus of this conference is on software, although there are instances where hardware announcements are also made. With this in mind, we can also be hopeful of a possible iPad Pro 2 announcement.
While nothing is really confirmed yet, people who are excited to get their hands on a new iPad model or models can hold on to what an analyst said. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, there is a 70% possibility that we can chance upon one of the three rumored iPad Pro 2 models, the 10.5-inch Apple tablet.
Just like the current iPad Pros in the market, this one will have an Apple Pencil. Moreover, it will come with a screen size that is new and more importantly, will exude power with its A10X chipset.
Rumored Design and Specs
Photos of a new iPad from Apple have been leaked earlier and speculators believe that these images point to iPad Pro 2. Based on what was seen, this model has a slimmer and lighter slate, not as if the existing iPads are not already thin. There are also talks that it will come devoid of a headphone port and that it is resistant to water. If these are true, there is really something to be excited about.
Within a few days, the long wait will be over. That is, if Apple has included the iPad Pro 2 on the list of what they will announce. In the meantime, you can read more about iPad Pro 2 release date here.
