If you own Nexus 6, your device will notify you when the update is available, but in case you postponed the installation and later completely forgot about it, you can do it manually. Here is how you can check for the update manually:

  • Go to Settings app
  • Scroll down and tap About phone
  • Tap System updates
  • Click Check for update

Your device will check for updates. If there is no update available at the moment, you will see the following message “Your system is up to date.”  If there is an update, tap Install, and if asked, restart your device.

 

As you can see, this is a pretty simple thing to do, but it can completely change the experience when using your Nexus 6, especially if you noticed some bags, or if you are crazy about new features.
