- Find the Launchpad in the Dock and click on it
- Choose the app you want to uninstall and hold its icon
- You will notice the icons of all the apps will start to jiggle
- Click on the X button and the app will be uninstalled
- In case you change your mind later, go to the Mac App Store and reinstall the application.
If the icon of the app you want to remove does not have the X button, it means it cannot be deleted in the Launchpad.
Click Applications in the Finder sidebar. If the application you wish to uninstall is inside a folder, open that folder. See if there is the (App) Uninstaller or Uninstall (App). If there is, double click on that, and just follow the given instructions.
