Netflix is one of the most popular video streaming services where you can find movies, TV shows, documentaries, and more. The service has two autoplay features—one will autoplay the next episode of a TV show, and another one will autoplay the previews. If you don’t like these features, you can disable them. Let’s see how to turn off Netflix autoplay.
How to turn off autoplay previews
You can disable the feature if you don’t want the previews to be shown automatically when browsing Netflix. Here is how:
- Open a browser and go to Netflix.com and log in
- Click on your profile photo in the top-right
- Click Manage Profiles
- Select the profile you want to manage
- You will notice the “Autoplay” section
- Uncheck the option “Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices.”
This will prevent Netflix from automatically showing previews when you browse the content.
How to turn off autoplay for the next episode
- Open a browser, go to Netflix.com and log in
- Click on your profile photo in the top-right
- Click Manage Profiles
- Select the profile you want to manage
- You will notice the “Autoplay” section
- Uncheck the option “Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices.”
This will prevent Netflix from automatically playing the next episode of a TV show.
