Whenever you want to capture something on your screen, you can do that using the hardware buttons, or your knuckle. We are going to explain both methods here.

To take a screenshot using the hardware buttons:

  • Make sure that the thing you want to capture is currently on the screen
  • Press the Power button and the Volume down key at the same time and the screenshot will be taken

The other option is to use your knuckle. Just tap on the screen with one knuckle and you will be able to take a screenshot.

The knuckle gestures came with Huawei P8. To be able to use this cool feature that is a lot simpler than using the hardware buttons, you will have to activate it first. Here is how: navigate to Settings > Smart Assistance > Motion Control, and you will find “Smart screenshot” option. Enable it and you are ready to take screenshots with your knuckle! I guess you won’t be using Power button and the Volume Down Key anymore.
