Capturing what's on your Realme GT 7 Pro's screen is a breeze, and with Realme UI 6.0, you have several quick methods to choose from. Whether you're saving a game clip or a funny chat, one of these will get the job done instantly.
Use the Classic Button Combo
The most reliable way is the universal Android shortcut. Simply press the Power button and the Volume Down button together for a brief moment. You'll see a flash and hear a shutter sound, confirming the capture. A small preview will pop up in the corner, which you can tap to edit or share right away.
Take a Screenshot with a Three-Finger Swipe
This is the signature gesture method on Realme phones and often the fastest. Just place three fingers anywhere on the screen and swipe down. The screen will flash, and the screenshot will be captured. I find this incredibly handy when you need to screenshot something quickly with one hand.
If this doesn't work, you may need to enable it first. Go to Settings > Additional settings > Gesture & motion and toggle on Three-finger screenshot.
Capture from the Quick Settings Panel
Swipe down from the top of your screen twice to open the full Quick Settings menu. Look for a tile labeled Screenshot. If you don't see it, tap the pencil edit icon to customize your tiles and add it from the list below. Once it's there, a single tap will capture your screen.
Use the Smart Sidebar for Quick Access
The Realme GT 7 Pro's Smart Sidebar is a floating tool panel you can pull out from the edge of the screen. If you have it enabled, you can add a screenshot shortcut to it for one-tap captures. Swipe in from the right edge to open the sidebar and tap the screenshot icon.
To set this up, go to Settings > Additional settings > Smart Sidebar and make sure it's turned on. You can then edit the tools to include the screenshot function.
Take a Scrolling Screenshot
For capturing long web pages or conversations, use the scrolling screenshot feature. First, take a regular screenshot using any method. In the preview that appears at the bottom, tap the icon that looks like a downward arrow or says Scroll.
The phone will automatically capture more of the page below. You can keep tapping it to extend the screenshot as far as you need, then tap save. It stitches everything into one seamless, long image.
Edit and Annotate Immediately
Right after taking a screenshot, tap the preview thumbnail. This opens Realme UI's built-in editor where you can crop, draw, add text, or blur sensitive info. When you're done, tap the share button to send it via any app or tap save to store it in your gallery.
If you miss the preview window, you can always find the screenshot later and edit it from your Photos app.
Find Your Saved Screenshots
All your screenshots are automatically saved to a dedicated folder. Open the Photos or Gallery app and look for an album named Screenshots. You can also find them directly in your file manager by navigating to Internal storage > Pictures > Screenshots.
With the GT 7 Pro's 6500mAh battery, you can screenshot to your heart's content without worrying about running out of power. And if the phone ever becomes unresponsive during any task, remember you can force restart it by holding the Power button for about 10 seconds.
