If you love playing life simulation games, you will hardly find something better, more complex, or more fun than Sims 4. The base game offers a lot, but when you get expansion packs and stuff packs, you get even more. However, the story does not end there. The fans from all around the world create mods – game modifications, that can bring a lot more, beyond what you can even imagine. Did you know that with one of the mods you can adjust the height of your Sims? Cool, ha? You can get cars and go back to the good old Sims 3 days. You can add new traits, gameplay options, and you can even choose for your Sim to live forever. All these things can be achieved by mods. If you are new to Sims 4, you might expect some long and complicated guide with a bunch of steps. That’s not that sort of guide. Installing modes is super simple. Believe it or not, it requires just a few clicks, and that’s it. Here is what you need to do:

  • Once you download the mods you like, remember that you don’t need to unzip them (if the mods are in zipped files)
  • Copy the mods you downloaded and move them to the following:
  • If you are using a PC, go to Explored, and then Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
  • If you are using a Mac, open Finder and then go to Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods

That’s it. You have successfully installed mods in Sims 4. We guess you didn’t expect it to be that easy, but it is.
