One of the reasons why so many people decided to get an iPhone 11 is because this phone (and the entire series) offers so much to every photo enthusiast out there. But, there have been some complaints. Some users reported the images they’ve made are somewhat blurry while the others complained about the black camera problem.

How to fix iPhone 11 camera issues
Solution 1: Relaunch the camera app
Let’s start with the simplest solution of all. If you noticed any camera-related problems, especially the black camera, this simple trick may help. What you need to do here is to swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold your finger on the screen for a moment. The App Switcher will open and you’ll see the apps you have been using recently. You can close each up by swiping up. Make sure to close the Camera app, and even better, close all the apps. Once you are done, go back to the Home screen and launch the camera again.
Solution 2: Switch between cameras
Another thing that may help you fix the issue is switching to a selfie camera and then back. Make sure to try it out.
Solution 3: Clean the lenses
We use our phones daily, and we often forget how dirty they can get. Use a clean cloth and gently clean the lenses of your phone.
Solution 4: Remove the case
If you are using the case, remove it. While cases are designed to protect the phone, some may cause issues including camera-related ones.
Solution 5: iOS update
Another thing that you should do is update the software to the latest version. Every new iOS version brings new features, security patches, but most importantly it brings bug fixes. To update the software go to Settings > General > Software update. Tap Download and install.
Solution 6: Reset all settings
Perhaps restoring the settings to factory defaults will make a change. Give it a try. Go to Settings > General > Reset. Tap Reset all settings. Enter your passcode and tap Reset all settings to confirm.
Solution 7: Erase all content and settings
We always list this as the last solution, because it requires your time. Plus, you’ll have to back up your files. When going for this option, keep in mind it will wipe everything, your data, and apps, and will restore the settings to factory defaults. That’s why the back up is something you need to do first. When you are done:
- Go to Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Reset
- Choose Erase all content and settings
- Now enter your passcode
- Tap Erase iPhone.
After the phone finishes the whole thing, you’ll have to set it up from scratch.
If after all of this you still have camera issues, the best thing would be to visit one of the Apple stores.
