Looking for your Syrotech router default password gets confusing when online answers give you different credentials. Start with the administration details printed on your device, then ask your internet provider if those fail. The options below also cover saved Chrome logins, model-specific help, and the separate password you need to join Wi-Fi.
Check the credentials printed on your router
Inspect your Syrotech router or optical network terminal (ONT) for its printed default username and password.
Identify the credentials for device administration. These are separate from the Wi-Fi password, and Syrotech’s support FAQ does not define one label format for every model.
Enter the printed administration credentials at your router’s login page. Syrotech’s support FAQ and datasheet pages give no single login address covering every model, and the addresses published for individual models differ; ask your ISP for the address if you do not have it.
Use the credentials on your own device instead of borrowing a password listed for another Syrotech model.
Ask your ISP when the printed login fails
If your provider changed the administration credentials during installation, the printed factory details no longer match the configured login.
Contact your ISP and ask for the administration username and password configured on your router. Syrotech directs consumers to their provider first when the default credentials fail.
If your ISP cannot resolve the problem, check for a previously saved Chrome login or contact Syrotech for help with your exact model before resetting the device.
Find the separate password for Wi-Fi
If you only want to join the router’s wireless network, use the Wi-Fi password. The administration password serves a different purpose.
Read the default Wi-Fi password printed on the router or ONT label.
Connect to the matching wireless network using that password. A Wi-Fi password changed after installation replaces the printed default.
Look for a saved login in desktop Chrome
If you previously saved your router login in desktop Chrome, check the stored entry:
- 1.Open Chrome’s More menu and select Passwords and autofill > Google Password Manager.
- 2.Under Passwords, select the entry matching your router’s administration address.
- 3.Select Show password. The stored value records the login you saved; it does not establish the factory default or confirm that the router still accepts it.
Retrieve a saved password on Android
Chrome on Android also displays previously saved logins. Open Chrome and go to More > Settings > Google Password Manager.
Select the saved entry matching your router’s administration address.
Tap Show password to reveal the stored value.
Checking a router entry uses Chrome’s general password manager, not a Syrotech recovery feature. On either platform, Chrome displays what you saved without retrieving factory credentials from the device or checking whether the password still works.
Consult the SY-GPON-1110-WDONT tutorial
For the SY-GPON-1110-WDONT, open Syrotech’s website and go to Resources > Tutorial.
Locate the GPON-1110-WDONT configuration video in the regional-language section.
Watch the tutorial for the default username and password information that Syrotech says it includes.
Use this video only for the router model it names. On other firmware versions, the screens may look different.
Contact Syrotech for help with your exact model
For clarification about factory credentials or recovery, contact Syrotech directly or use its website form:
- 1.Call technical support at 8750555060 or email [email protected], describing your model and login problem; ask support to confirm eligibility under your warranty.
- 2.To use the website form instead, open Syrotech’s Contact page.
- 3.Complete First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Location, Vertical, and Message. Include your model and login problem in Message.
- 4.Select Send.
Keep a factory reset as the last resort
Use a factory reset only after obtaining the credentials needed to reconfigure your connection. It restores factory settings and does not reveal your previous password.
Ask your provider for all credentials needed to set up the connection again.
Locate the hardware button marked RST.
Hold RST for 15–20 seconds, following Syrotech’s general reset instructions.
Log in with the device’s default administration credentials.
Reconfigure the connection using the details you obtained from your provider.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to download software or install firmware to find the password?
No. The label, ISP support, saved Chrome passwords, vendor tutorial, and hardware reset methods require no software download or firmware installation.
Should I use the 30-30-30 reset procedure?
No. Syrotech’s reset procedure is to hold RST for 15–20 seconds, not a 30-30-30 sequence.
