How to find one lost AirPod

Finding your AirPods – both or only one – is possible using the Find My AirPods feature. But, you won't be able to use the feature if your AirPods are not connected to your iPhone. Here, we will show you how to find your lost earbuds, and we will also show you what to do if you lose just one of them.

You can find your lost AirPods on the map using the Find My AirPods feature. It will show you the location, and if the earbuds are not connected to your iPhone, you will see the last time and place when the pods were online. You can use the Find My AirPods feature on your iOS device, Mac, and PC.

Find my AirPods – iOS devices and Mac.

  • Launch the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
  • Select the Devices tab
  • Now select your AirPods

Find my Airpods – PC

  • Open your preferred browser
  • Go to iCloud/find page
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Select All Devices
  • Choose your AirPods

You should see the location of your AirPods now.

If you lost one Airpod

If you lose one AirPod only, you won't be able to see the locations of both AirPods simultaneously. So ensure you place the AirPod you have with you into the case. Once you've done that, refresh the map, and you will be able to locate the other one.

Play a Sound

You can find your AirPods by playing a sound.

  • Launch the Find My app on your Apple device
  • Choose the Devices tab
  • Select your AirPods
  • Select the Play Sound option.

The Play a Sound feature is available on the iCloud/find page.
