How to find one lost AirPod

Finding your AirPods – both, or only one – is possible using the feature called Find My AirPods. But, you won’t be able to use the feature if your AirPods are not connected to your iPhone for some reason. Here, we are going to show you how to find your lost earbuds, and we also going to show you what to do if you lost just one of them.

You can find your lost AirPods on a map by using the feature Find My AirPods. The location will be shown to you, and if the earbuds are not connected to your iPhone, you will see the last time and place when the pods were online. You can use the Find My AirPods feature on your iOS device, your Mac, and your PC.

Find my AirPods – iOS devices and Mac

  • Launch Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or your Mac
  • Select the Devices tab
  • Now select your AirPods

Find my Airpods – PC

  • Open your favorite browser
  • Go to iCloud/find page
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Select All Devices
  • Choose your AirPods

You should see the location of your AirPods now.

If you lost one Airpod

If you lost one AirPod only, you won’t be able to see the locations of both AirPods at the same time. So, make sure to place the AirPod you have with you into the case. Once you do that refresh the map and you will be able to locate the other one.

Play a Sound

You can find your AirPods by playing a sound.

  • Launch Find My app on your Apple device
  • Choose the Devices tab
  • Select your AirPods
  • Select the Play Sound option.

Play a Sound feature is also available on the iCloud/find page.
