How to delete Philo account

Before we start, we must mention that there is no way to delete your Philo account. Even if you cannot delete that account, you can cancel your subscription if you no longer want to be a part of this platform. Hopefully, this solution will be good enough for you because Philo does not let its users delete the whole account. So, let’s start explaining how to cancel your Philo subscription and stop being a member of this platform.

Steps to cancel your Philo subscription

You must first open up the Philo platform in your browser to cancel your Philo subscription. So, open up a browser on your device (Google Chrome is the preferred one) and search for the Philo platform. The top result should be on the platform's official site, opening it and logging into your Philo account regularly.

Once you have logged into your account and the Home page of the platform has loaded, you will have to go to the My Account page by clicking on the personal avatar that should be located in the top right corner of your screen. After accessing your profile, you must find and click on the gear icon to open up Settings.

Once the Settings section of the Philo platform has been loaded, you will have to scroll down for a bit until you find the My Subscription subsection. The Cancel my Account button should be located under the My Subscription subsection. You will be canceling your Philo subscription by clicking on that button. However, as we have mentioned, you will not be able to delete your account because Philo does not have that option yet. The reason why you cannot delete your account is that there is a chance that you might want to go back to this platform and subscribe to it again, and this way, you will not have to create a whole new account; you can just log into your old one. If you have clicked on that Cancel My Account button, you will probably get a small pop-up notification message asking you to confirm that you want to end your subscription to this platform. Confirm by pressing the Cancel button again.

Remember that if you have canceled your subscription in the middle of the month and have already paid for a subscription for that month, you will still be able to stream all of the content on this platform. Of course, you will not be able to do that until that month’s subscription has expired, and not after that. You must log into your existing account and select a new subscription plan.

If you are unable to unsubscribe from Philo

If you are unable to end your subscription with Philo, there are a few things you can try doing:

First, log out of that account, log back in after a certain amount of time, and try to end your subscription.

Please check and see if you have an internet connection; you will not be able to end your subscription if your device has no internet access.

Also, if you can still cancel your Philo subscription, it is probably their mistake. Contact their staff support to get more information and other possible solutions to your issue; they will give you the best advice.
