Looking for Discord Wrapped and can't find your recap? Discord calls it Checkpoint, and access to the 2025 edition ended on January 15, 2026. You can still look for results you saved or request your account records to review your activity yourself.

Check whether your recap is still available

As of September 24, 2026, there's no current official way to open Discord's yearly recap. Checkpoint 2025 has expired on desktop, browser, and mobile.

Updating or reinstalling Discord won't reopen it. Turning on personalization now won't generate a 2025 recap either.

If you can't open Checkpoint, look for a screenshot or shared summary you saved while it was available. If you have no saved results, request your account data using the steps below.

Look for a saved summary

Check your phone's photo library for screenshots you took of Checkpoint.

Look in your computer's downloads folder for any recap images you saved.

Open the conversation where you shared your Checkpoint summary.

Treat saved results as a record of the recap; they don't restore access to the expired interactive version.

Request your Discord data on desktop or browser

This gets you raw account records to review, not a replacement Checkpoint.

Click the bottom-left cogwheel to open User Settings.

Select Data & Privacy.

Scroll to Request your data.

Click Request Data.

In Submit Data Request, choose the data you want included.

Select Request My Data.

Click Okay.

Check your email for the package. Preparation takes up to 30 days.

Download the package within the email link's 30-day download window.

Get the same export from your phone

You can also request your account records in the Discord mobile app.

Tap your avatar at the bottom of the screen (the You Bar) to open your profile.

Tap the cogwheel at the upper-right.

Open Data & Privacy.

Tap Request all of my data.

On Submit Data Request, choose the data you want included.

Tap Request My Data.

Tap Okay.

Download the package from Discord's email. The same preparation time and download window apply.

If the mobile request doesn't work, try the desktop or browser request above.

Read your exported activity

Once the ZIP is on your computer, inspect your records directly.

  1. 1.Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
  2. 2.Open its JSON files with Notepad, TextEdit, Chrome, or Firefox.
  3. 3.Inspect the message timestamps to review when you sent messages.
  4. 4.Read the activity records to explore the activity included in your export.

Skip expired shortcuts in older tutorials

The desktop and browser flag icon and the mobile Checkpoint banner under You belonged to the expired 2025 edition. Those old entry points don't provide current access.

Older export instructions also point to Privacy & Safety. The current export controls are under Data & Privacy. Third-party Wrapped generators aren't official Discord recap methods, and Discord provides no built-in yearly recap generator for exported records.

If an older tutorial leaves you stuck, use the desktop or mobile data request above to get your account records.

Understand what personalization changes

Checkpoint 2025 expired, so changing personalization won't bring the missing recap back.

The setting controls how Discord uses data to personalize your experience. Enable it if you want that personalization.

On desktop, open User Settings.

Select Data & Privacy.

On mobile, open Settings instead.

Tap Data & Privacy.

Turn on Use data to personalize my Discord experience if desired.

This toggle doesn't generate or reopen a recap, and it doesn't guarantee access to a future edition.
