The Honor 20 is an excellent device that comes with powerful specs and a ton of great features. With a 6.1-inch AMOLED display and FHD resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the display offers a fantastic experience to the user. But, when you buy a new device, there are some things that you should change and adjust according to your needs and desires. Especially important ones are the options and features that are display-related. This is because the display and its options greatly impact battery life. This article will show you how to adjust the brightness on Honor 20.

How to Adjust Screen Brightness on Honor 20

Adjusting the screen brightness on Honor 20 is pretty simple. Just follow the steps below:

  • Open the Settings app from the Home screen
  • Among the options, find Display & brightness and tap on it
  • You will see the Brightness option and the slider that you can move right or left to adjust

Also, among the options, you will notice Automatic brightness that you can enable. If you go for this option, the screen brightness will automatically change and adapt to the lighting of the room you are in. For instance, if you are in a dim room, the brightness on your smartphone will automatically go down.

Battery life is not the only reason to adjust the brightness, lower it down, or set it to Automatic. There is another major reason – your eyes. For instance, if you use your phone in a dim room without adjusting the brightness, you may experience eye strain.

Regarding the ideal brightness level, experts say it depends on the ambient lights. To explain this a bit further. The brightness on your phone should match the light in the room you are currently spending your time in.
