One of the easiest ways to stay in touch with your family, friends, or co-workers is by using Google Hangouts. You can use it on your mobile device or your computer. You may host a video call and include several people.

Sometimes, when you are on a call, you want to show others what you are viewing on your screen. Fortunately, Google Hangouts allows you to do that, which is very simple. Without further ado, let’s see a short and straightforward Google Hangouts screen-sharing guide.

Sharing your screen on Google Hangouts is relatively simple. Here is what you need to do:

  • When you are on a call, click the three dots located in the top-right corner of the screen
  • In the menu that will appear, select the option “Share screen.”
  • The next thing you are required to do when a pop-up shows up is select whether you want to share your entire screen (set by default) or share the Application Window.
  • Finally, tap Share.

That is all you need to do to share a screen with others during a video call.

Screen sharing is useful in many situations, and if you are using Google Hangouts, you can share the screen within seconds.
