In August, Google had introduced three photography apps from the Google Creative Lab under the Android Experiment Project and it was a way to showcase exciting apps or projects for android. The company again has come up with a new innovative app called Meter from the same Google Creative Lab. It’s a data driven live wallpaper which shows information like notifications, battery level, wifi signal, etc. in a simple wallpaper. You can download this amazing app from the Google Play Store.

Just download the Meter app and it will turn the wallpaper into a dashboard displaying information such as missed calls, app usage and more. The app will show three different visualizations, and they will change automatically with every device unlock.
The concept and the original design of the Meter app is given by Mikkel Koser and the code is written by Kyle Philips and Jonas Jongejan.
