Last week in China, Samsung unveiled their mid range lineup smartphone: Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7. These two devices look a lot like the A series, even though both are made entirely of plastic with faux-leather rear covers. Samsung says those affordable phones come with “an unprecedentedly thin frames and bezels”. Today, through their official twitter account @Samsung mobile India, it’s said that Samsung will bring these 2 smartphones to India on November 3. The Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 have 5-inch and 5.5-inch with 720 displays respectively. Both are powered by an Exynos 3475 SoC with a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, with 1.5GB of RAM. Its 8GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB through its microSD slot.
The main camera of Galaxy On5 has 8 megapixel, while Galaxy On7 has 13 megapixel. The front facing camera of both devices have 5 megapixel. For connectivity, both Galaxy On5 and On7 support dual card dual standby 4G LTE FDD standart. When it comes to battery, Galaxy On5 has 2,600mAh battery capacity, and 3,000mAh for On7. It will be available in white and gold. Unfortunately, we haven’t got the official prices for these devices, but it’s predicted to be sold around $150 – $200.
