Process to fix USB undetectable problem on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Process-1- If your computer is having a problem after installing any new hardware or devices, try to solve the issue by using the hardware and device’s troubleshooter. It checks for common problems and ensures that the new hardware and devices that you have installed on your computer, were installed correctly. Connect your computer to the internet and make sure from the Windows online troubleshooting service that your computer is having the most updated troubleshooter.

Click on the Start button, then control panel to open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter. Write troubleshooter in the search box and click on the Troubleshooting option. Then click on Configure a device under Hardware and sound. If the screen prompts for confirmation or an administrative password, provide the same.

Process 2- To fix the USB undetectable problem on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, uninstall the USB controller and then again reinstall it. Disconnect all the USB devices and follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Start button, then write “devmgmt.msc” in the search bar and tap Enter. Also, you can click on Continue.
  2. In device manager, double click to expand “Universal serial bus controller”, then right click on the Host Controller, click Uninstall and then Ok.
  3. Delete all the items under “Universal serial bus controller” by repeating the second step. Now restart your computer and Windows 7 automatically will reinstall the USB controllers.
