To make sure that you have received the latest update, open app list > Settings > Phone Update > checks for Updates and follow the prompts.

2. Some Windows Phone 8 users reported that the random rebooting issue persisted even after the update. If this is the case with your phone, you can try restarting your device. To do that, press the Power button and hold it. When you see theSlide Down to Power Offoption, slide it down then, turn your phone on again and see if the random rebooting issue on Windows Phone 8 persists. You can also remove the battery and put it back again.

3. The final option is trying a factory reset. First, create a backup of all your data by going to App List > Settings > Backup, and then choose App list + Settings > Backup Now. Next go to About > Reset Your Phone and click onYesthen tap onYesagain when prompted.
