If you are facing issues with Google Maps or GPS navigation on the Google Pixel 2 XL – There must be issues with the software or the problem with the GPS antenna in your mobile phone.
Before doing anything else, toggle GPS. Turn it off, wait for a couple of seconds, and turn it back on.
Next, do the following:
- Go to Settings > Location
- Tap on “Mode”
- Select “High Accuracy”
You also should clear the cache for Google Maps. Here is how to do that:
- Tap on Settings > Apps
- Find “Maps” on the list and tap on it
- Now click on “Storage” and then “Clear Cache”
