If you love Samsung devices, you must have heard about Samsung Gear Fit. It’s a wristband produced by Samsung electronics, and the wristband has an AMOLED display. Samsung Gear Fit was designed for the people who are interested in fitness and style. This wristband monitors some activities such as heart rate sensor, pedometer, and exercises such as running, cycling, hiking, walking, stress and sleep.
Therefore, if you want to connect Samsung Gear Fit to Samsung Galaxy S5 using Gear Fit manager application, then follow the below steps:
> Make sure that your Galaxy S5 in turned on.
> Turn on your Gear Fit. Press the Power key and hold it until it turns on.
> Go to your Galaxy S5’s Home screen.
> Tap Apps icon.
> Scroll the screen to and tap Gear Fit Manager to launch this application. (If you do not see the Gear Fit app in the list, you will have to install the application on your phone)
> After launching the Gear Fit app, you will be prompted to select a device to pair. Tap Scan to start scanning for available devices.
> Under Available devices, tap Gear Fit to pair it with your Galaxy S5.
> The screen will prompt with Bluetooth pairing request. Tap Ok to confirm.
> Next get to your Gear Fit and confirm that the passkey matches with the one on your mobile phone. When it is matched, touch the check mark to continue.
> You will then see a new screen on Legal notices on your Samsung Galaxy S5 screen. Read the notices, review the End user license agreement and mark the checkbox at the bottom of the screen to accept all the terms and conditions.
> You can read the Introduction to Gear Fit message on the following screen and then touch Close when you are done with reading.
> Choose on which wrist left or right you want to wear the Gear Fit and then mark the checkbox to complete the setup process.
You have now connected Samsung Gear Fit to Galaxy S5 successfully.
