Why This Matters

A flush mount design keeps the fan close to the ceiling, which can be useful in rooms where a hanging fixture would reduce headroom or feel visually heavy. The quiet motor is intended to minimize operational noise while optimizing energy efficiency, so the fan may be less disruptive in living areas or bedrooms. Six fan speed settings let you adjust airflow rather than relying on a single fixed speed.

What You're Getting

The fixture has three plastic blades and a metal body, with a reversible motor and reversible blades, per the listing. Its integrated LED light is dimmable, includes a timer, and produces 2,000 lumens at a 6,500K color temperature. Wayfair notes that integrated LEDs of this type can last up to 50,000 hours and cannot be replaced by the customer. Controls include a remote and a proprietary mobile app for Android and iOS, with no smart home hub required. The fan is rated for dry locations only, and all mounting hardware is included.

Who This Is For

This fan suits someone furnishing a large room up to 18 x 20, per Wayfair's listing, who wants a low-profile fixture with both lighting and air movement. It also fits a buyer who prefers adjusting fan speed and light settings through a remote or a proprietary mobile app rather than wall controls. Because it is rated for dry locations, it is appropriate for indoor spaces without moisture, such as a living room, bedroom, or home office. The integrated LED cannot be replaced by the customer, so a buyer who wants replaceable bulbs should consider that limitation.

Final Verdict

At the listed sale price, this fan bundles lighting, remote control, and app-based adjustment in one flush mount fixture. The main purchasing considerations are the dry-location rating, the non-replaceable integrated LED, and the proprietary app rather than a broader smart home platform. If those constraints match your room and preferences, the discount against the merchant's listed previous price makes it worth evaluating.
